Founded over forty years ago, the African Association for Public Administration and Management (AAPAM) is a continental professional organization for high level public sector administrators and managers in Africa as well as those who teach, conduct research and offer advisory services in public administration and management.

The Associations main business is to promote best practice, excellence and professionalism in Public Administration and Management leading to sustainable leadership capacity development in the African Public Services.  

A non-profit-making organization, AAPAM enjoys the support of many African governments and donors.
