The UN DESA Digital Learning Centre has now three new online training courses available, developed by UN DESA’s Division for Public Administration and Digital Government (DPIDG).

  1. Fundamentals of ethics and public integrity: The online training course on Fundamentals of ethics and public integrity covers the roles and responsibilities of public servants, the integrity challenges and ethical dilemmas public servants can face and how they can behave in critical situations. It also explores how the core concepts of ethics, integrity and accountability are interlinked and work as a system to achieve public integrity.
  2. Ethics and public integrity at the institutional and policy level – Oversight Institutions: The online training course on ethics and public integrity at the institutional and policy level covers oversight institutions and horizontal accountability; the roles, types, benefits and challenges of ombudsmen, anti-corruption agencies and supreme audit institutions; and how countries across the globe are using oversight institutions for anti-corruption efforts.
  3. Systems thinking for public sector transformation: the online training course on Systems thinking equips participants with the knowledge and tools to analyze the interconnectedness of the SDGs, apply systems thinking principles to national development planning, and deepen their understanding of the Systems Thinking approach and its practical applications.

The courses are free for all learners from across the world.
