Research and Consultancy
Seminars, Workshops and Short Courses
We invite you to take part in our training programmes covering leadership, governance, management, administration, human resources, and other related fields. The Association delivers a wide range of capacity‑building initiatives across the region and the continent, targeting senior and mid‑level practitioners as well as young professionals in both the public and private sectors through seminars, workshops, and short courses.
Our National Chapters also host seminars and workshops for public servants, university and college students, professionals, businesspeople, and local communities. These training programmes further offer extensive opportunities for networking, collaboration, and professional growth.
Round Table Conferences
AAPAM hosts an Annual Roundtable Conference in different countries across the continent. The Association also convenes additional conferences that address emerging and critical issues in African public administration and management, with the aim of strengthening the knowledge and competencies of policymakers and other key stakeholders. These conferences serve as international platforms for knowledge exchange, networking, and advancing a shared development agenda for Africa.
Participants typically include delegates from various African countries, among them: Ministers; senior public officials from the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial arms of government; Heads of national planning ministries, agencies, offices, and commissions; distinguished academics and researchers; civic leaders from NGOs and civil society organizations; as well as representatives from financial institutions, the private sector, donor agencies, the United Nations, the African Union, and other international organizations.
